中国の古典『老子』の言葉「上善若水（最高の善は水のようなものである）」において、水は万物に恵みを与え、争わず、いかなる環境にも順応する柔軟性と、岩をも穿つ忍耐力を象徴しています。 一方、日本の伝統文化における「若水（わかみず）」とは、元旦の朝に初めて汲む神聖な水のこと。一年の邪気を払い、新しい生命力と清らかさをもたらす「始まりの水」を意味します。

 在中华古典哲学中，“若水”源自老子《道德经》的千古名句：“上善若水”。水善利万物而不争，它代表着至高的包容、顺应万变的灵动，以及“滴水穿石”般坚韧不拔的定力。 在日本传统文化中，“若水（わかみず）”是指元旦清晨汲取的第一桶清泉。它寓意着洗净铅华、迎来新生，是充满着纯净、活力与无限希望的生命之水。

 Rooted in the wisdom of Laozi’s *Tao Te Ching*, the concept reflects the saying, “The highest good is like water.” Water nourishes all things without seeking recognition or reward. In Japanese tradition, *Wakamizu* refers to the first water drawn on New Year’s morning.
